Christine-Ferreira

Christine Ferreira, meteorologist for News Channel 5’s Good Morning Cleveland, is the newest local celebrity to sponsor Cleveland APL adoptable pets.  During the month of June, Christine will talk about her love for small furry mammals, as well as more traditional pets like cats and dogs.  She hopes to help Clevelanders experience the warmth and joy a pet can bring, no matter the size or type.  Christine has cared for more than 40 guinea pigs since she was a little girl.  “I have always adored small animals, especially guinea pigs. It all began when my sister and I were younger and got a pair of guinea pigs, Mr. Pig and Mr. Hog. A few months down the line, we awoke to find “Mr. Pig” surrounded by 4 babies. Turns out, Mr. was really a Mrs.!“Many people don’t realize that the Cleveland APL has small animals available for adoption. Please come down today to meet ferrets, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, or cats and dogs with hearts full of love, just waiting for a second chance,” Christine said.
