Cats’ Eye View

July 19, 2010

OzzyHi all!  It’s Ozzy here. Check out these photos of Kobe and me. We’re doing our best imitations of the pets whose moms and dads are trying to take their pictures for our 2011 Pet Calendar Contest. While I personally don’t think there’s any such thing as a bad picture of the Ozzman, this probably isn’t my best side.

I’ve heard – and seen proof – that instead of posing nicely, dogs and cats are turning away from the camera, getting way too close, sticking out their tongues, pouting, or just sleeping through their photo sessions. OK, I did think this was pretty funny at first, but then I remembered that the calendar helps thousands of homeless animals every year.

KobeSo Kobe and I have made an executive decision. We are extending the deadline for the contest to give you pet parents another shot at taking your best shots. Originally, today was going to be the last day to get your photos to us. But now you have until Saturday, July 24, to Make Your Pet A Star.

This is a great cause, so all you pets out there better put your best faces forward. Pet parents, start clicking those cameras, then click here to enter the contest. Good luck!

Until next week…Help Our Friends

Love and purrs,
Kobe and Ozzy
