Dear APL staff/volunteers,
My husband and I adopted Sedna (formerly Meeka) about a month ago. She'd been at the shelter since May 3, 2009. She was listed as a Private Investigator, but I think she's morphed into a full fledged Love Bug.
Sedna was shy for about the 24 hours after we took her home. She became wildly affectionate thereafter, and is very playful. She purrs nonstop and loves being where we are. She spends a lot of time running, playing with a ping pong ball, sleeping on her big comfy kitty bed, and carefully interacting with her new housemate, our 2 year old grey male cat, Isosceles. They spend hours sitting in the windows on either side of our fireplace watching birds and munching on the cat grass we keep there. We love having her in our home. Thank you to your staff and volunteers for taking such great care of this sweet little cat. I've attached a picture of Sedna on her new bed. She also has a silver, sparkly collar with her name on it (silver because the name Sedna is the same as a dwarf planet that travels amongst the comets) and that little box back there was for her to hide in. She never uses it.
Sincerely,
Danielle |
